Partnership Opportunities

ETERC Industry Consortium

The ETERC industry consortium and advisory board is modelled on the example of the Sustainable Transportation Energy Pathways (STEPS) Program, which enabled the ITS-Davis to bring together the world’s leading auto and truck OEMs, energy firms, new mobility companies alongside other ITS-Davis partners (including foundations and government agencies) to understand sustainable vehicle and energy solutions.

ITS-ETERC research can be valuable to multiple groups within an organization, including strategic planning, government relations, and advanced technical divisions.

Sponsorships taking place in the context of the consortium will enable the development of core research projects, alongside access to a number of additional benefits and requirements. These include:

  • Membership of an Advisory Board Committee –The board will meet a minimum of once each year to receive updates from leadership on the past year’s research and engagements and advise program leadership on research planning and strategic direction.
  • Access to Briefings, Reports and Webinars Sponsors receive early access to publications, working papers, and reports, as well as special research briefings reflecting the content of broader research activities carried out by the ITS-Davis researchers.
  • Logo Recognition – the Sponsor’s logo will be displayed on the ITS-ETERC website, in presentations, and in all other ITS-ETERC related materials.
  • Free access to ITS-Davis ETERC annual conference  See the conference website from our first conference in March 2023.
  • Public Process Activities Special public process events are periodically held, including briefings and webinars, for policymakers, their staff, and the general public. ITS-ETERC Sponsors are encouraged to attend and participate in these special events.
  • Internships, Extended Sponsor Visits, and Employment ITS-ETERC is pleased to support student internships at Sponsor locations, send research leaders to Sponsor locations, and help prepare ITS-Davis students for careers with our Sponsor and partner organizations.
